Huge News tonight!

Huge news tonight! Take a look.

I went upstairs to change Robbie's diaper and Alli was playing at her chalk-board, Rob was sitting in the living room watching the news. I hear Alli saying "Daddy, come see my name, come see my name" and then I hear him celebrating - "you did that all by yourself?!!"

I ran downstairs so fast yelling "don't erase it, Mommy wants to see - grab the camera!"

Can you believe it...only 3 years old and writing her name! She is soooooo proud!!! and so are we! Can't wait to see how long it takes to learn to write Alexandra - we might need 4 or 5 chalkboards. :-)

Now we know how Picaso's mom and dad must have felt!

Thanks Auntie Susan, Uncle Andy and Jake! - just a few nights of playing the letter recognition game on my princess computer and see what I can do!!!!

What's good for Robbie is good for Alli

What's good for the goose is good for the gander....if Robbie can bounce - Alli can bounce better! She loves her bouncy ball and shows Robbie how "Big Girls" bounce... but watch close at the end....she is sooo excited about bouncing she forgets to hold onto the handle and bounces right off! She laughed so hard she just kept on doing it.... Thank Goodness kids bounce! (and no black & blue butt cheeks!)

And a little help from Alli

No bouncy session is complete without a good shake from your big sister. She is such a big helper - even wants to help Robbie jump!

Jumpy Seat Fun

Robbie loves his jumpy seat and has soooo much fun jumping....his legs are soooo strong for such a little guy!

Bathtime Fun!

A little bathtime fun!

Alli loves to be in the water - and so does Robbie - now.... in the beginning he would scream his little head off.... you would have thought we were skinning him alive. I used to run around and shut all the windows before bathtime - now he really enjoys the tub!

Gotta love the fist in the mouth!

Robbie loves his little seat!

A little role reversal here... Alli was hanging out in Robbie's car seat - she is definately too big for that, but she liked it!

Swing

Alli loves to push Robbie in the bouncy seat - she thinks it's a swing.....we are learning how to "do gentle"!

Oh so beautiful

Our little princess... we call her tinker-ella beauty - tinkerbell's wings, cinderella's dress and sleeping beauty's shoes - all over our pj's. What a fashion statement!

Robbie has become quite the talkative little man... I really want him to say 'ma ma'...but he seems to really like 'ba ba ba ba'....it's a little dark, but way too cute!

The other night at dinner I was trying to get him to say 'ma ma'...daddy of course is pushing the 'da da' and Alli pipes up.... "No Daddy, Robbie is going to say ma ma, then he is going to say Alli, maybe later he'll say da da." She is just too cute - us gals need to stick together!

Doing a little housework. She is mommies little helper!

Alli shares her toys with Robbie all the time... he just loved this dolly. We think he is starting to teethe, everything goes straight into the mouth and man can this little guy drool! He is like a leaky faucet.

Alli loves "grippy" socks - considering she runs through the house like a lunatic - that's probably a good thing. But they are so hard to find now that she is getting bigger....so..... we got really creative and decorated a bunch of socks with puffy paint.

If you follow the paint's directions EXACTLY they don't wash off (at least not in the first 6-8 washes - I'll let you know if that changes)

Aren't they just the coolest socks! Alli even did some herself!

Look what I can do!
Robbie loves his jumpy seat...mommy loves it to - it tuckers this little guy right out! Great for right before nap!
Playing on the floor in our pj's.

They play so well together. Robbie really looks up to his big sister.

Our little ham!

Laughing at Alli - she is just too funny!

Smile for the camera Robbie! Alli loves to imitate Mommy and take tons of pictures of her brother.

Gotta love when they actually pose for pictures....and smile when the flash is ready!

Such a graceful dancer....Alli loves to twirl, and half the time she ends up in a pile on the floor :-) but she definately gets an A+ for effort.
We need to find a local dance class for this girl - she just loves to dance!

Happy Birthday Alli - 3 Years Old!

We just love Dora !

Cool Barbie bike!

And a Dora watch! Thanks Uncle Jeff & Haley!
Auntie - I love my jacket! As soon as you left I put it on and wanted to wear it to bed....but Mommy said no....

This dress twirls so good! Alli's new favorite thing is to dance and twirl.

If her skirt or shirt won't twirl she tells me she can't wear it...especially not to school.
"Mommy this doesn't twirl good - let's change."
Who knew we judged the quality of our wardrobe based on how good it twirled...too bad now that she is growing up they don't make the dresses with the matching undies....we get a great view of Dora and/or the Princesses instead - we may need to start wearing shorts under our dresses if she keeps this up!

Happy Halloween

Alli & Robbie hanging out before putting on our costumes...and yes...Robbie got dressed up too!

Alli - our "Little Witch"

All & Mommy - the 2 Good Witches

and Mr. Dumbo --- so cute - and he even wore the hat!

Wow! What cool face paint - and it glowed in the dark!

and or course she wanted to paint Mommy's face --- and how do you say no? Figured we will only have these special Halloween's where she actually wants to hang out with me for so long - so enjoy!

Well now weren't we just beautiful! :-)

And Yes - I did walk and drive around like that all evening long..... good thing I didn't get pulled over.....can you imagine trying to explain that......

Robbie was so comfy cozy in his costume he went right to sleep! So cute!Alli really enjoyed "trick or treat" - and wanted to eat all the candy at once!

We really had a great time! She really "got it" this year and it was so nice to see her soooo excited!
